Activision and Treyarch are hosting a double XP weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 which is set to begin shortly. Black Ops 2's game design director David Vonderhaar took to Twitter to comment:
Happy Friday! Double XP starts at 10AM PST. About 2 hours from now … regardless of what time zone you live in. Time is complicated.

The bonus activities will carry on through the next few days until 10am PST on June 1st and is available to players on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U.
A day later the Vengeance DLC pack will be released first on Xbox 360 for 1200 Microsoft Points which is around $15 in real money. Vengeance adds four new maps and a zombie mode arena. So with the double XP weekend 360 players should be well equipped for the new maps.
Later this year Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to be released by Infinity Ward and will take place in 2023 with an entirely new story. Ghosts is also coming to next-gen platforms and Microsoft and Activision have extended their timed exclusivity agreement to see DLC packs released first on Xbox.
