Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Vengeance DLC Releases July 2nd

June 18, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC features 4 new multiplayer maps.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will release the Vengeance DLC map pack exclusively first on Xbox Live.

The Vengeance DLC will come with 4 new maps and a new Zombie mode arena.

The first map, the Cove, places players on a compact island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. On the island, players will fight around a crash landed jet wreckage used in a smuggling operation.

The Detour map funnels players around a destroyed suspension bridge that hangs high above a waterway. Players will use cars and debris as cover in this vertical map.

For a more fabricated feel, Rush will encourage close quarters combat on a paintball course.

Coming from Call of Duty: Black Ops, Uplink – more known as Summit – changes the snowy ridge setting and opts for a rainy forest.

As for the Zombies mode map, players can play on Buried. On the Buried map players will see the return of old characters as they team up to kill the zombies infesting a mining town. To assist in your killing, the Ray Gun Mark II will also come with the Vengeance DLC.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Vengeance multiplayer DLC will launch on July 2nd first for the Xbox 360 for the price of 1200 Microsoft points.
