If you’re still actively participating in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 experience, you’re probably pretty excited for the upcoming Vengeance DLC. Included in the paid content will be four competitive multiplayer maps, including Cove, Rush, Detour, and Uplink, as well as the Zombies location Buried. One of the biggest attractions, though, is the Ray Gun Mark II. A fan-favorite device with a few new bells and whistles being added for style, this zombie killer is just waiting to be taken for a ride by the millions of online players who hate the undead. However, gameplay footage of the armament in action has been leaked before the July 2 date of the highly anticipated content.
A new patch for Black Ops 2 just hit Xbox Live, and somehow, the update unlocked the Ray Gun Mark II before the developer was ready to let the world give it a spin. A fix was quickly implemented in order to save the gun for its actual release next month, but thanks to the internet’s swiftness, a chunk of gameplay was recorded before the weapon was removed. All credit goes to OMGItsAliA on the Matroix YouTube channel for having the foresight to get video before it was gone.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Vengeance multiplayer DLC will launch on July 2 first for Xbox 360 at the cool price of 1200 Microsoft Points. Expect all the fun to makes its way to both the PlayStation 3 and PC just a few short months after.
