2017’s release of NioH has proven to be quite successful, (recently we learned that the game has actually sold over 2 million copies) so much so that during Sony’s E3 conference, that the entertainment giant announced that we will be receiving a sequel. The announcement trailer is extremely briefly, showing only a teaser for the upcoming title. As of right now, we have no other news (is it going to be a PS4 exclusive, when is the release date?) only that there will be more NioH content arriving at some stage.

NioH is an action role-playing video game that takes place in the early 1600s during a fictionalized version of the Sengoku period. Japan is in the midst of a civil war when a sailor by the name of William is enlisted by Hattori Hanzo, a servant to Tokugawa Ieyasu, to defeat the Yokai that are flourishing in the chaos of war. The original Nioh was announced way back 2004, thirteen years later the title arrived on PS4, later warranting a PC release.
