NioH the critically acclaimed RPG from Team NINJA has just hit a massive new milestone. Taking to Twitter, the team announced that the game has officially surpassed 2 million copies sold. Here’s what the developers had to say:

#DefyDeath. Nioh has now sold over 2 million copies worldwide! Were you able to find all the Kodama during your journey?”
It’s a pretty big achievement considering the game was first released exclusively to PS4 and then landed on PC over half a year later. So from us at Gameranx, well done Team NINJA!
NioH is an action role-playing video game that takes place in the early 1600s during a fictionalized version of the Sengoku period. Japan is in the midst of a civil war when a sailor by the name of William is enlisted by Hattori Hanzo, a servant to Tokugawa Ieyasu, to defeat the Yokai that are flourishing in the chaos of war.
