AC3 Tyranny of King Washington Trailer Invokes The Power Of The Wolf

March 12, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new trailer shows off Connor’s new abilities in this DLC.

Tyranny of King Washington

Ubisoft has put together a new trailer for the Tyranny of King Washington DLC for Assassin's Creed 3, which sees the game's main character Connor—or Ratonhnhaké:ton—unleash an all new set of abilities that allow him to invoke the power of the wolf.

He can stalk enemies invisibly, and even call upon wolf packs to take down his foes en masse. These special abilities will aid him in his mission to rid America of its tyrant and Connor's former friend, King Washington.

The Tyranny of King Washington is a new single-player campaign told through three episodic content packs that provides gamers with an alternate-history experience to the events following the American Revolution.

"As the revolution comes to a close, a new and most unexpected enemy emerges. Driven by the desire to secure the fate of the colonies, the greatest hero of the revolution, George Washington, succumbs to the temptation of infinite power. The new King is born and his reign leaves no one untouched. To return freedom to the land our new hero must dethrone a tyrant he once called friend."

Assassin's Creed 3 is currently available on the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. The expansion pack, the Tyranny of King Washington, contains three episodes and is a part of the game's DLC Season Pass. They can also be purchased separately for $9.99 each or 800 MS Points.
