BAFTA has announced the nominees for BAFTA Games, and Journey has yet again wiped the floor with its contemporaries. Across eighteen categories, Journey has received nominations for eight awards: Game Innovation, Artistic Achievement, Audio Achievement, Online – Multiplayer, Best Game, Original Music, Story, and Game Design.
In fact, Journey has been nominated for every single category for which it qualifies, as the others – Action, Mobile & Handheld, Online – Browser, BAFTA Ones to Watch Award in association with Dare to Be Digital, British Game, Performer, Debut Game, Sports/Fitness, Family, and Strategy – aren't relevant to the game.
These BAFTA nominations (which will presumably lead to at least some wins) join the long list of awards for which Journey has been nominated and those which the game has won. Journey has so far gained the following nominations as well as those for BAFTA Games:
