While Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is already out for the PS3 since November, the PS Vita version, which was originally scheduled to ship last month, is still nowhere to be seen.
Over on a post on the Official PlayStation Blog, it has been revealed that Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault for the PS Vita won't be released until spring of 2013. According to SCEA producer Greg Phillips, they still need more time "to bring the game up to the standards expected" by fans.
In order to appease disappointed fans, Sony will be offering Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked for the PS3 as a free download to all of the people that purchased Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault for the PS3 (digital or on disc). This giveaway will be available when Ratchet & Clank: FFA becomes available for the PS Vita.
Maybe Tin Giant is having a few issues with the PS Vita? Either way, at least Sony is doing something to make it right and a free game should make upset fans stop complaining…at least for a little while.
Are you one of the people who's disappointed at the delay? Is this enough of a peace offering for you lot?
