If you've been keeping up with gaming news, chances are you've noticed that Famitsu seems to have a "surprise scoop" to announce in its next issue every week. Okay, I'm exaggerating, but last December the mag promised "something surprising" for Metal Gear fans, after that, they said they have a "surprise scoop" on a long awaited title in their next issue that I honestly thought (or at least hoping) would be The Last Guardian, and finally, also this month, the mag teased a "new scoop on a popular series" for its next issue.
While some of the "scoops" were a bit underwhelming, it's understandable since Famitsu is a Japanese gaming magazine and most of their exclusives cater to that region.
Now, Famitsu is at it yet again. In its latest issue, it states that a "ban on information for that popular title will be lifted." Again, I'm hoping this is for The Last Guardian, but deep down, I know that's a long shot.
Sadly, that's all the hint we have for now. The wait won't be that long though, as the latest issue of the mag should hit newsstands in Japan next week.
In the same issue, Famitsu will also reveal their the top 30 games readers are looking forward to in 2013.
What "scoop" do you think this one will bring? Could it be for The Last Guardian or will it most likely be for an obscure JRPG?
