While Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance isn't even out yet, we now know some of Konami's plans post launch for the game.
Japanese gaming mag Dengeki PlayStation says Konami will release VR Missions and sub stories with other characters as downloadable content. For those not familiar with the Metal Gear franchise, VR Missions are pseudo-training levels that lets the player test their skill against set stages. Details regarding its release date and price have yet to be disclosed.
It's been a rather Metal Gear Rising heavy week, just yesterday we posted three new videos showcasing Cyborg enemies, Raiden's High-Frequency Blade and Cybor Ninja. Before that, we detailed a few new tidbits about the game's New Game + mode, stealth mechanics and more.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is being developed by Platinum Games with the help of Kojima Productions. If you want to try the game out before release, its demo is out now on the PSN Store and on Xbox LIVE.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is set for a February 19 release for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
