The DLC packs for Battlefield 3 are about to come to an end with the upcoming release of Battlefield 3: End Game, the absolute final DLC for the title, which was released way back in 2011. The game saw numerous DLCs over the course of 2012.
The upcoming DLC, titled End Game, delivers some of the most high-speed warfare to date across four vast maps, according to the PR brief. Players will be able to break through enemy lines on a new dirt bike, which brings speed and agility to the battlefield, or fend off against airborne attacks using new lightweight AA vehicles.
End Game sees the return of classic Capture the Flag mode, as well as the introduction of the all new Air Superiority, which is set entirely above the skies of the battlefield. Players will be able to drop right into the battlefield using a new dropship that allows for rapid deployment air drops of troop transports.
In all, the DLC adds four new maps for high-speed combat, two new game modes, and three new vehicles for use on those maps.
There's no word on whether the mode will include any dinosaurs, but it's slated for release in March 2013 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It's a part of the Premium DLC content pack, so you'll get it for free if you've already purchased that.
