After months of tap dancing and leaks, Square Enix has finally released the first-ever official gameplay trailer (and confirmation?!) of IO Interactive's Hitman HD Trilogy.
Just in case you need a refresher, IO Interactive is bundling Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money but with added HD sheen and Achievements/Trophies.
While it doesn't look as good as Hitman: Absolution, it's not an ugly game by any means, either. Don't believe me? Check it out yourself.
If you didn't watch the trailer until the end, you might have missed Square Enix announcing that Hitman: Absolution's Sniper Challenge will be included free of charge as part of the trilogy. As if getting three Hitman games for $39.99 wasn't a value enough, at least now you have an optional multiplayer component to play, too.
For those interested, you can check out the trilogy's Premium Edition here, or read up on all three games' Trophy list here. Oh, just in case you're wondering, the answer is yes — all three games will have a Platinum Trophy each.
While Hitman: Absolution was already released last year, if you haven't played it yet, I suggest giving the trilogy a go first to make more sense out of the overall story.
Hitman HD Trilogy will be out on January 29 on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
