Teased and announced last November, Sony is partnering up with Chevrolet to release the 2014 Corvette in Gran Turismo 5.
Since the car's reveal, nearly 500,000 people around the world have driven the camouflaged Corvette Test Prototype. Now, just a day after its debut world debut at the North American International Auto Show, the Corvette Stingray will be available exclusively through the PSN starting today.

According to Sony, "careful attention was paid to the tiniest details of the new design inside and out" — right down to the shift schedule for the 7-speed manual transmission.
For car nuts, the Corvette Stingray can produce an estimated 450 horsepower and 450 ft. lbs. of torque, this beast is capable of accelerating from 0-60 in less than four seconds and will even achieve more than 1g in cornering grip. The Corvette Stingray will also be the most fuel-efficient Corvette ever, exceeding the EPA-estimated 26 MPG of the current model.
More important for GT5 fans, this DLC will be available for free! Yep, for those not in the "filthy rich" category, this is our only chance of being able to be behind the wheels of a Corvette.
