We mentioned a few weeks back that the star of Wreck-It Ralph, whose movie opens today, in theaters across the country, would be making a guest appearance in the upcoming Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. As most people know by now, that star of that particular game has a role in the aforementioned movie also.
Well we now have footage of Disney's latest bad guy trying to go good in action:
It would seem that John C. Reilly, voice of the titular character from the movie, is back to reprise his role here. And, like it virtually all characters from every mascot racer, he's just bursting with commentary.
The movie, which again just came out, is definitely one of the better video game movies produced (though it doesn't quite live up to the promise of a "Toy Story, but with video games" unfortunately). One of the best parts about the film is Reilly's performance, and the clip is highlighted by one of the very first thing Ralph says: "Hey Sonic! What are you doing in a car?"
Good question; too bad gamers have been asking that for a while now, but with little avail. Overall the game looks decent, but it's unfortunate that Ralph is not nearly as fluid here as he is in the movie. Hopefully Reilly can help make up for this fact by also sneaking in Tim & Eric references into his bag of lines.
