For those who can't wait to don their Nanosuit Armor once more, Crytek has partnered with chip-maker NVIDIA to offer players at a chance to participate in Crysis 3's alpha trial.
If you want to be a part of it, just head on over to NVIDIA's GeForce Facebook page, "Like" it, fill out your info and collect your key. Players who've gotten their alpha trial keys can begin preloading the client in 30 minutes, but the actual trial will start on November 2 at 1 p.m. PST.
I suggest you hurry up and register as it seems to be on a first-come, first-serve basis and who knows how many they have before it runs out, no? Also, if it wasn't obvious enough, this is for PC only. No word on whether the console versions will get their own alpha trial in teh future.
Crysis 3's multiplayer will feature an all-new "Hunter" game mode that will have players take the role of CELL operatives without the advantage of the Nanosuit armor. You can watch gameplay footage of that by clicking here. Additionally, Crash Site will see a host of new improvements as well and will even have a controllable mech called "Ceph Pinger," which you can read about and watch in action, too.
Crysis 3 is scheduled for a February, 2013 release and is set to hit the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
Anyone excited for this? Let us know if you got one and happy hunting!
Thanks, NeoGAF
