Breath of the Wild – How To Solve All Shrines | Akkala Walkthrough

February 22, 2017 by Kevin Thielenhaus

On WiiU & Switch: Conquer the Akkala Region with Gameranx’s complete solution guides for all the shrines in the northeastern territory of Hyrule.

Table of Contents – Akkala Shrines

  • Ritaag Zumo Shrine
  • Katosa Aug Shrine
  • Dah Hesho Shrine
  • Zuna Kai Shrine
  • Tu Ka’loh Shrine
  • Ke’nai Shakah Shrine
  • Ze Kasho Shrine
  • Tutsuwa Nima Shrine

Tu Ka’loh Shrine – Tu Ka’loh’s Blessing

On the northeastern shore of the Akkala Shrine, just above the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab on the map. Just look at the map to spot the giant labyrinth complex. From the cliffs, glide toward the open doorway at the labyrinth entrance. The interior of the maze, right from the start, is guarded by killer Ancient Guardians.

At this point in the story, the best possible method for solving the maze is climbing the tall walls and walking along the top. Follow the gallery above, or move toward the northwest corner of the first large chamber — the large central chamber with pillars and patrolling Guardians. Start from the rooftop to the left of the metal grate that covers the shrine itself.

Drop down — there’s a ladder directly left of the “box” containing the shrine itself. Climb up the ladder, then take the stairs up and around to reach the shrine.

Burn the brambles on the right at the top of the first set of stairs. A fire arrow will do the job. Up the path, there’s a free Great Flameblade.

This is another “Blessing” shrine. Grab the treasure chest before using the altar — there’s a Barbarian Helm! This powerful part of the Barbarian Set adds the Attack Up buff.
