Switch Configurations & Specs
The Switch features 3 major gameplay configurations; TV Mode, Tabletop Mode, and Handheld Mode.
- TV Mode:
- The standard console mode. Displays to the TV, and works just like other consoles.
- Tabletop Mode:
- Use the Switch console kickstand to play anywhere. Use the Left and Right Joy-Con controllers to play two-player games — each Joy-Con is an independent controller.
- Handheld Mode:
- Attach the Left and Right Joy-Con controllers to the Switch Console and play anywhere on-the-go.
