Dead Rising 4: Podcast & Newspaper Locations | Collectibles Guide

There are multiple types of collectibles in Dead Rising 4, but for our money, the ‘Undead Gospel’ podcast is the most amusing. Finding these unlocks new entries in the ‘Podcast’ collectible list — there are a total of 12 to grab. Because there are so few, we’re also including the newspaper locations. They’re both worth it, and not just for the PP boost you get for finding them. Each newspaper reveals a hidden locations, giving clues you’ll want to explore to unlock new blueprints and other rewards.

You’ll actually get a chance to meet the voice behind ‘Undead Gospel’ as you delve into Old Town outside of Willamette Mall. She isn’t quite the same loudmouth radio personality she comes across in her podcast, but if you want to earn 100% completion, make the Undead Queen (and her 512 followers) happy by grabbing these collectibles.

  • Location: Willamette Memorial Megaplex – Inside B. Reddy Insurance, on the desk in the left office.
  • Location: Willamette Memorial Megaplex – On the balcony above Cap’n Hats in Caribbean Cove.
  • Location: Willamette Memorial Megaplex – Behind the bar at the Thirsty Amazon in the Amazon Food Court.

  • Location: Old Town – Found in the Zom-B Safe bunker in the Willamette Gazette & Historical Society building. Use the Spectral Analyzer to scan the walls near the back door to find the hidden bunker.
    • The key to this bunker is located in the Old Town Emergency Shelter, in the room to the left of the first floor front entrance.
• Willamette Time Capsule 4
  • Location: Old Town – Hidden in the bunker on the second floor B. Reddy Insurance Office. Reach it by using the exterior fire escape.
    • The key is in the Old Town shelter’s first floor medical room.
• Family Reunion
  • Location: Old Town – Look on the singular tower on the hill of the cemetery.
  • Location: Old Town – In the back left corner of the Tornado Convenience Stop gas station.
• Old Town Ripper
  • Location: Old Town – On the couch in Nobleman’s Barber Shop.
  • Location: Old Town – In the dumpster behind the Willamette Gazette & Historical Society.
  • Location: Old Town – On the metal shelf behind the counter of Dodd’s Drugstore.
  • Location: Old Town – On the shelf near the back door of Hungry Joe’s Pizza.
  • Location: Old Town – In the bathroom of the Low Income Hotel, above Big Bull’s Meat Shop. Use the truck and fire escape to reach the upper floor room.
• Cold Snap
  • Location: Old Town – Near the garage doors of the Willamette Taxi Co.
  • Location: Old Town – Inside the City Hall Archives Zom-B bunker.
    • The key is found on a military desk, up the street at the open gate from the archives entrance door.
• A Greener Willamette
  • Location: Old Town – In the Old Town park, go to the jungle gym and look behind the climbing wall, beneath the stairs.
• Sweet Ride
  • Location: Old Town – In the junkyard, past the first area, you’ll enter a narrow door to an area where evacuation buses are parked. Go through the doorway on the right and look inside the raised white cargo container.
• Missed Connection
  • Location: West Ridge – On the shelves in the barn workshop on Tom’s Compound.
• Baby Shoes
  • Location: West Ridge – Found on the back-left counter of the Tornado Convenience Stop.
• Survivicon
  • Location: West Ridge – In a locker at the Emergency Medical Services Station.
  • Location: West Ridge – Found in the Chakra Flex Yoga studio.
  • Location: West Ridge – In the Patriot Residence underground bunker. Find the entrance to the bunker in the backyard shed.
    • The key is found in the West Ridge Emergency Shelter garage.
  • Location: West Ridge – Inside a locker in the lavatory. Look in the West Ridge Emergency Center basement to find it.
• Willamette Time Capsure II
  • Location: West Ridge – Hidden in the Kent Farm shed’s Zom-B shelter. Use the keypad near the open door.
    • The key is found in a shuttered fresh produce stand across the street from the farm.
• From the Ashes
  • Location: North Peak – In the back-right booth of Nickolls Ink.
  • Location: North Peak – On the table in the backroom of Ka-Pow! Tires.
  • Location: North Peak – Back-left counter in the Tornado Convenience store.
  • Location: North Peak – In the main room of the lower floor in the North Peak Emergency Shelter.
  • Location: North Peak – On the rooftop of Rockpile Liquors. This is a tricky one — there are two adjacent square buildings near the store. Climb onto the roof using a parked truck, then jump to the other small building. It is a very tough jump, but it is possible. If you make it across, use the bridge to reach the liquor store roof.
• Vintage Newpsaper
  • Location: North Peak – On the catwalks with the silos right next to the train tracks. Find the newspaper right next to where an RPG spawns.
  • Location: North Peak – Enter the train tracks tunnels from North Peak and look inside one of the containers with beds and supplies.
  • Location: North Peak – From the North Peak underground entrance from the train tracks tunnel, find this newspaper in the chamber with the locker.
  • Location: North Peak – Drive a vehicle to Freytag Furniture Factory and jump into the Kippax Cement construction site. From here, get out and go down one level. The paper is on the stack of wood beams.
• Punching President
  • Location: North Peak – Behind the counter of the Glitter Dolls Nightclub.
• Mittens Finds a Home
  • Location: West Ridge – In the Hunter Residence garage. This house is in the Mountain Ridge Gated Community area.
  • Location: West Ridge – Near the central fireplace in the main house of Golden Apple Vineyard.
  • Location: West Ridge – In the Dojos Residence kitchen. This is one of the houses inside the Mountain Ridge Gated Community.

  • Location: Willamette Memorial Megaplex – Find this podcast in the Honeymoon Suite of the Virago Hotel, located conveniently in the Amazon Food Court area. The large room is at the end of the hall on the second floor.
• Undead Gospel #2:
  • Location: Willamette Memorial Megaplex – Hidden inside a Zom-B bunker in the Cruz Tanning Salon, in the Caribbean Cove area.
    • The key is found on the lounge chairs to the left of the restaurant seating.

  • Location: North Peak – Search the second floor hotel room at the Peaks Motel, on the left after climbing up the stairs.

  • Location: North Peak – Right underneath the giant candy cane inside the Santa’s Workshop warehouse.

  •  Location: North Peak – At the Willamette Train Yard, find an open car filled with beds adjacent to the big red silo station. The podcast is on a makeshift table with a machete.
