One of the most perplexing puzzles in Blue Prince has nothing to do with progression and everything to do with bragging rights. The Gallery is a weird room with four painting puzzles that players everywhere are confused by — and for good reason, this puzzle barely makes any sense, and the only clue is found far, far later in the game. If you managed to stumble into the Gallery room early and you just want the answers, check the full guide below. There’s no major progression here, even if you find the mysterious “8 Key” and finally unlock the actual room. That’s so rare, you’ll be forgiven for skipping it. The room also has a pretty meager reward for the effort it takes to get there.

Gallery Puzzle | Solutions
There are four paintings and four sets of letters. To solve the puzzles, you’ll need to input a word on the blank frames that is spelled out in the paintings. Interacting with the frames reveals letters. Use the frames to spell the wonders below to unlock the cases containing chests.
Painting #1: Picture with apple / stop signs in cards, large “P” on the right.
- Solution: P-O-N-D-E-R
Painting #2: Infinity sign filled with needles surrounded by named boxes.
- Solution: R-U-M-I-N-A-T-E
Painting #3: Eye painting with the words “Actual Objective” on a sign.
- Solution: R-E-A-L-I-Z-E
Painting #4: Arm holding handcuffs with the word “THICK” beneath.
- Solution: T-H-I-C-K
The first chest contains a small reward — the second chest always contains the “Key 8” reward.
How To Use Key 8
Key 8 needs to be used on any locked door leading to Rank 8 — so if you’re a Rank 7 room, you’ll need to use Key 8 when progressing to Rank 8 to enter this secret, extremely rare room.
- Enter the strange Room 8 to find 8 containers and many statues. By placing the statues on the different named containers, you can solve a puzzle.
This is an extremely difficult puzzle that requires progressing far into the game to find additional clues. If you’re confused, pair the animal statues and containers (with Deadly Sin titles) in the combinations below for the best possible reward.
- Hubris: Monkey Statue
- Envy: Lion Statue
- Lust: Swan Statue
- Wrath: Elephant Statue
- Gluttony: Penguin Statue
- Sloth: Bear Statue
- Avarice: Rabbit Statue
- Mundanity: Dog Statue
Find all the statues on the back wall. Each statue has a little plaque with words on the front. You can only carry one statue at a time. Place it on the corresponding spot. As a reward you’ll earn x2 Allowance Tokens — +4 Coins daily — and a trophy. You’ll earn the Infinity Trophy for completing 8 puzzles in Room 8 on Rank 8. You’ll also earn the (extremely rare) Room 8 trophy / achievement for managing to reach this area.
