Honkai: Star Rail – Ascending Trailblazer | How the Honkai: Star Rail Pity System Works
After playing through his Trial and Quest, it’s safe to say that Imbibitor Lunae is absolutely amazing. Thankfully, you still have enough time to grind for Stellar Jade and collect Star Rail Special Passes before Imbibitor Lunae’s banner ends.
Enemy Drops – Immortal Series
Imbibitor Lunae uses Immortal Scionette, Immortal Aeroblossom, and Immortal Lumintwig for Ascension. All Mara-Struck enemies on the Xianzhou Luofu. This includes enemies such as Abundance Spirits and Disciples of Sanctus Medicus. All enemies deal either Lightning or Wind damage, so watch out for the DoT effects Shock and Wind Shear.
Currently, Blade, Jing Yuan, and Tingyun also need the Immortal branches for Ascension. However, since Blade and Jing Yuan’s limited event banners already ended, you most likely only need to worry about Tingyun. 9 Light Cones also use the Immortal branches, including the 5-Star Light Cones Before Dawn and The Unreachable Side.
Stagnant Shadow Drops – Suppressing Edict
So far, Imbibitor Lunae is the only character who uses the Suppressing Edict for later Ascensions. This comes from Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Puppetry in the Xianzhou Luofu Artisanship Commission, newly added with Version 1.3.
Like the other Stagnant Shadow battles, Shape of Puppetry only has one phase. The enemies consist of two Entranced Ingenium: Illumination Dragonfish and one Aurumaton Gatekeeper. Make sure you bring at least one Lightning character into the fight to inflict Weakness Break on all enemies. Both Illumination Dragonfish are also weak to Physical and Imaginary damage. The Aurumaton Gatekeeper is weak to Wind and Quantum.
The Aurumaton Gatekeeper will periodically summon two Illumination Dragonfish after activating its Sanction Mode. Be careful starting the battle since the Aurumaton Gatekeeper’s Sanction Rate increases whenever your team uses Skills or Ultimates. It only takes three hits for Sanction Mode to activate.
If you do bring an Imaginary character with you, try not to have them attack the Aurumaton Gatekeeper. Bring them along solely for the Illumination Dragonfish. The Aurumaton Gatekeeper has damage resistance to Physical, Fire, Ice, and Imaginary attacks, with the most amount of resistance in Imaginary damage.
