Where to Get Somber Smithing Stones in Elden Ring
The good news about your search for Somber Smithing Stones in Elden RIng is that they’ll just turn up all over the place as you explore the game naturally. Particularly, a lot of them can be found in one of the first areas you’ll likely be exploring: Stormveil Castle. Since the game literally signposts you toward this destination, you’ll likely have a lot of these stones early on whether you like it or not.
However, if you’ve squandered those early ones or you just need more for your latest piece of epic equipment, there are plenty of other places to find them. For starters, you can buy as many as you like once you’ve found all of the corresponding Bell Bearings, which we’ve listed for you right here (for reference to that guide, look at entries 2, 10, and 12 for Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearings which will let you purchase Somber Smithing Stones of all varieties from the Twin Husks).
Conversely, you can seek out Smithing Master Iji at the Kingsrealm Ruins Site of Grace. He’s just north of the ruins and will sell a limited amount of Somber Smithing Stones if you happen to be in dire need of the item. However, even if you’ve bought your fair share and can’t yet reach the Bell Bearings you need, don’t worry; you’re bound to come across a ton of these in the mines, fields, and castles you’ll know doubt be exploring over the course of your adventure.
