To beat the Snow King, you need to follow specific steps. This is the final boss of Adventure Mode, and certain steps can be confusing for some players. Here’s the step-by-step method for taking this boss down.
- The Snow King’s arena has several bomb driving spots and crystals. During each phase, the Snow King will be shielded by the crystals.
- To win, you need to defeat the Snow King before your body temperature reaches zero. You’re on a time limit, so you need to act fast!
- To disable the shield, hit the bob-ombs into the crystal. Make sure to hit as hard as possible! You can tell how many crystals are activated by following the green / red lines connected to the Snow King’s shield.
- How To Damage The Snow King: After removing the shield, don’t hit the bob-ombs into the Snow King. Instead, go to the patch of snow on the ground. When the Snow King is about to launch a snowy projectile, hit the snow to launch it back at the Snow King, damaging him.
After the first phase, the Snow King will attack and summon enemies that throw snowballs. Getting hit by any cold attack will lower your temperature even more, so you need to stay moving! Wait for the Snow King to stop attacking — the purple markers on the ground show where he’s about to attack. When he stops attacking, you can go to the bob-ombs and disable the crystals.
The Snow King will attack after you disable each crystal, so be prepared! Run and then sprint when the tracking snowball is aiming for you. If you don’t sprint, you can get hit.
Repeat these steps three times. Hit the Snow King three times from the snowy patch, and you’ll win the battle.
