Double Secret Wall Hides The Best Mod [Control AWE DLC]

Control is a paranoid fantasy brought to life, so I guess we shouldn’t be surprised they’d also hide a secret so impossible-to-find you need to break through two unmarked breakable walls, then solve a bizarre puzzle related to the “Take Control” song featured in the memorable Ashtray Maze sequence from the vanilla game. The song features a series of references — ones that fans caught onto quick. And in the second DLC “AWE” we finally get a use for those numbers.

Deep in the DLC location, there’s a particular hallway with a dark corner you can blast open. It’s unmarked — so players must’ve discovered it just by shooting every wall in the map. The passage leads to a special room with yet another wall you can destroy. This second secret path takes you to a clock puzzle. Set the correct time, and you’ll drop into a red room. It’s super creepy and rewards you with one of the best mods in the game.

Getting An Owlbear Cub Companion [Baldur’s Gate 3]

Everyone loves babies. Baby Guardian from Hyrule Warriors. Baby Yoda! We all love babies of things. Baldur’s Gate 3 gets it because your party of adventurers can recruit your very own Owlbear cub. It doesn’t really do anything — it just looks incredibly cute and hangs out. Does it need to do anything else?

To get the bear on your side, you’ll have to find and kill the Owlbear Mother. That’s a basic task most players will encounter in the first area of the game — things get complicated after that. Wait for time to pass, and you’ll later find the Owlbear cub in the Goblin camp. Help it out and use a ‘Talk To Animals’ spell or potion to get this little guy into your hangout zone.
