#4 Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
Mount & Blade is going to receive a new installment in 2020. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, is a prequel to the first installment, taking place a couple of hundred years earlier. Much like the last installment, you can expect everything from siege gameplay, working with an economy, to even crafting weapons. Likewise, there is a modding engine already planned to allow players to create their own unique content for others to enjoy. While we have this game marked for a release in 2020, it’s not the full launch window. Instead, the development studio over at TaleWorlds Entertainment is looking to bring this game out into Early Access within 2020. As it stands right now, we don’t know just when the release outside of Early Access will be, but we do have our initial Before You Buy episode upload on the title available right above.
#3 Ghost of Tsushima
Ghost of Tsushima is set in 1274 where the Samurai have been quickly taken out by the Mongol forces that invaded the island. Jin is one of the very last samurai left and he must take down this seemingly unstoppable force from destroying his home. Jin quickly learns that the traditional ways of combat won’t save those he loved as the rest of the samurai have been wiped out.
Instead, our protagonist must become a ghost and use unconventional tactics to win this war. At the time of writing this description, the game just released so we’re of course going to refrain from spoiling anything for you. Sucker Punch has made quite a fun and thrilling game for players to enjoy.
