#8 Yes, Your Grace
Yes, Your Grace is an RPG simulation game that puts players into the role of a King of a small kingdom. Overseeing the kingdom, it’s a difficult job to balance family life while maintaining harmony within your kingdom’s walls. However, the fear of war, low morale of your citizens, and losing your family is enough stress to break anyone. Dust off your crown and sit on your throne as you speak with your citizens and navigate through the daily life of a potentially crumbling kingdom. Luckily, you will be able to seek advice from your council, aid yourself with allies, and prepare for battles with hopefully a thriving army. As you can imagine, no choice is as clear cut and each decision seemingly plays into a consequence. Can you keep your kingdom in order while keeping your family happy?
#7 Crusader Kings 3
If you love tabletop games or RPG strategy titles then you may want to give Crusader Kings 3 a shot. Developed by Paradox, it’s a game set within the medieval ages as you take control of a kingdom. From there you decide how this kingdom will shape up and it’s done in so many ways. Everything from how your society is controlled either by wars, diplomacy, religions, marriages, to other aspects of political banters will really determine how successful your kingdom is.
These games tend to be quite strategical, but it looks like this third installment may make it a bit easier for newcomers without sacrificing too much of the main attributes that make up the game’s foundation. It’ll be interesting to see if the development studio can pull this off, but we’re still having to wait a bit before it’s available on PC. Currently, the release date for the title is set for September 1, 2020.
