Your Favorite Games Remade In Dreams | Silent Hills, Fallout 4, Halo, MGS & More

February 18, 2020 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Discover incredible recreations of Silent Hill, MGS, Halo and more with our list of Dreams remakes.

Resident Evil: Classic (By: akincibey71)

This is just another Work-In-Progress, but it shows how viable a Resident Evil survival horror game can be in Dreams. You’ll have access to weapons, items, and tank controls as you explore a small section of the mansion from RE1. There are zombies to fight, and it’s all very impressive from a logic point-of-view. Here’s hoping this project expands even more — a unique, creative spin on survival horror in Dreams could be amazing.

Halo: Alpha Base (By: ChadBEST)

This simple intro scene shows off a battle between human soldiers and a swarm of Covenant bad guys — including Grunts and Elites. It’s all located on an appropriately snowy hill. Combine these characters with an impressive Halo: Blood Gulch (By: Sonik42) project, and the community might be able to cobble together a complete Halo game, with all the shooting and driving you’d expect.

Hat Kid’s Summer Vacation (By: giant585dark)

A new level patterned after the old-school 3D platforming game A Hat In Time, you’ll play as the Hat Kid and explore a whole new level. The model is spot-on, and the level itself is massive — way, way bigger than the levels you’d find in the real game. There are even Time Pieces to collect.

Spider-Man Freeroam (By: mkfatalitys)

There’s an entire series of freeroam maps for Spider-Man, showing off ol’ Spidey’s web-swinging powers in Dreams. This is the largest map so far, created with assets cobbled together by the Dreams community at large. You can listen to the memorable Spider-Man theme while swinging around the night city, and doing not much else. It’s going to be a little longer before Spidey can take on his enemies.

Red Dead Online Simulator (By: Rikkiscafe)

The model looks great, at least! In this do-nothing simulator, you’ll be able to wander around and… well, that’s about it. I can’t say this is a 100% accurate representation of RDO. If it was, a player would show up every hour to instantly kill you with a headshot while you’re not looking. Considering the detail, I think this is a pretty loving tribute — even if it’s also a joke.
