#5: Add Friends When You Meet Good Players
You can friend anyone in-game, and it’s really easy to add players on your team to your friends list. You don’t have to socialize with them, just add them and you’ll quickly get requests to start joining games with competent players — this is the best way to avoid always teaming with terrible randoms.
Add the top players from both teams at the end of each match. If you’re an okay player, they might want to bring you along. If you’re a great player, then that’s even better. Just don’t accidentally friend a bot. Yes, that can totally happen.
#6: Save Your Credits To Purchase The Best Guns
Some of the best guns are the most expensive, and you’ll need to save +3,000 coins to get some of the greatest guns in the game. The Striker, the AK117, the PDW — that’s just a few of the best possible guns that are worth unlocking ASAP.
If you want to drop a few bucks on these to improve your game, go right ahead. It’s possible to unlock them all for free, so if you have a little patience, you can level up before you rank up.
Here’s our list of the best guns to buy with coins. That’s a good place to start.
#7: Campers (Sometimes) Prosper
While twitchy players are awesome at snaking through the map with the Striker or PDW, grenading campers along the way, not everyone is the best at that. You can always try your hand at becoming a dirty camper.
The basic method is simple — hang out near your spawn, stay far away from the action, and sniper people using your superior keyboard / gyro / $10 trigger assisted aiming skills. Campers can (sometimes) earn ungodly kills in this game, especially in the lower ranks when bots still spawn.
#8: Become A Bot Hunter
And our final tip is all about those pesky bots. Bots are in every game mode, and they’re essentially chumps, easy marks that any player can defeat. Even your amblutory grandma can kill these barely-functional NPCs. The biggest challence of early ranks is just trying to outkill your opponents.
The best way to get more and more kills is by hunting bots. Campers are good at this, but rushers are the best. Grab a Striker or a PDW and snake through the levels, locating bots and blasting them. Avoid anyone acting erratic, like they might be human, and focus on those easy-to-kill bots instead.
It’s a cheap tactic, but it’s one that works on lower ranks. The higher your rank, the less bots you’ll see — probably. It seems that way, at least.
