Borderlands 3: Floodmoor Basin Crew Challenges Guide | Claptraps, Typhon Logs & Hunts Locations

September 23, 2019 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Clear out the central hub of Eden-6 with a complete map of all the Floodmoor Basin collectibles.

Eden-6 isn’t quite a paradise, but it is a massive open-area that’s full of hard-to-find collectibles. This is the fourth planet you’ll encounter in Borderlands 3, and it isn’t the last. You’ll encounter Eden-6 in the mid-game, where there’s yet another vault to discover and steal away from the evil Calypso Twins.

This is the first of several large zones, and this one is the biggest. This is the hub that connects all the other areas, and you’ll want to wait until you’ve completed enough of the story to unlock the town of Reliance. When you first arrive, the gates to Reliance are locked and the lift is shutdown. Once those gates are open, travel becomes much easier in this swampy southern-fried zone.

Floodmoor Basin Crew Challenges Guide | Claptraps, Typhon Logs & Hunts Locations

For this guide, we’ll cover where to find Dead Claptraps, Typhon Logs, Typhon Dead Drops, and Legendary Hunt locations.

There are three Typhon Logs in each area, and there can be one or more Dead Claptraps or Legendary Hunts to find. Below, you’ll find a map with locations marked for every collectible type, and text instructions with more details to help you track them all down.

Typhon Logs are one of the most valuable collectibles. Finding all three will unlock the location of the Typhon Dead Drop.

Map Key:

  • Yellow = Dead Claptrap
  • Blue = Legendary Hunt / Target of Opportunity
  • Purple = Typhon Dead Drop (Cache)
  • Red = Typhon Logs
  • Pink = Crimson Radio
  • Green = Hijack Target

Legendary Hunt: Located in the far edge of the Primeval Grotto — just follow the signs, they’ll show you the way to Chonk Stomp’s lair.

Typhon Log #1: Found on the far edge of the Primeval Grotto, along the ridge on the corner of the map.

Dead Claptrap #1: Near the ‘Trial of Instinct’ mission icon, and down the road from the Primeval Grotto. There’s a ramp — this claptrap is dead in a little rock groove directly under the ramp.

Dead Claptrap #2: Under the deck in Lumberton Junction.

Crimson Radio #1: Smack dab in the swamps, on one of the railway struts. Use the shack and the generator to climb up to the platform. It’s a little tricky, but it’s possible.

Typhon Log #2: In Mudhaven, use the little outhouse to reach the raise platform built into the railway strut.

Hijack Target #1: In the far back of Mudhaven, there’s a raised platform behind the last building with a vehicle. You’ll just have to hop around the corner to reach it.

Hijack Target #2: On an high peak near the road leading up to Knotty Peak. Use the ramp on the raised path to jump to this tricky-to-reach hijack target.

Typhon Log #3: On a little rest stop platform, near the manmade bridge.

Crimson Radio #2: On top of the tall silo in the Timbermills area, deeper inside the Lumberhold.
