The sprawling Meridian Metroplex features a buttload of collectibles, and actually finding them all can be a giant pain in the butt. This is the central hub of Promethea, the second planet in Borderlands 3. This dense urban environment is full of hidden tunnels and secret balconies, so keep an eye out for stuff you can climb on while searching for Typhon Logs and everything else.
To make life easier, I’ve also included locations for Crimson Radios and Hijack Targets, to really round out the Crew Challenges. Hijack Targets are hidden vehicles you can snag for vehicle upgrades, while Crimson Radios are Children of the Vault cult propaganda broadcasts. The vehicles are always hidden behind a puzzle, and this one is pretty clever — it’s all about shooting pipes to complete a circuit. Find all the locations on our map below.

Meridian Outskirts Crew Challenges Guide | Claptraps, Typhon Logs & Hunts Locations
For this guide, we’ll cover where to find Dead Claptraps, Typhon Logs, Typhon Dead Drops, and Legendary Hunt locations.
There are three Typhon Logs in each area, and there can be one or more Dead Claptraps or Legendary Hunts to find. Below, you’ll find a map with locations marked for every collectible type, and text instructions with more details to help you track them all down.
Typhon Logs are one of the most valuable collectibles. Finding all three will unlock the location of the Typhon Dead Drop.
- Map Key:
- Yellow = Dead Claptrap
- Blue = Legendary Hunt / Target of Opportunity
- Purple = Typhon Dead Drop (Cache)
- Red = Typhon Logs
- Pink = Crimson Radio
- Green = Hijack Target
Dead Claptrap: Go to the streets above the ‘Cistern of Slaughter’ map marker and enter the stairwell to find this claptrap.
Crimson Radio: To reach the radio, climb up to the walkways above the streets and look for a crate with yellow paint. Jump across to the balcony with this radio.
Target of Opportunity: Find Baron Noggin in his underground lair, down a passageway.
Typhon Log #1: In the corner of the Meridia Mercantile mall.
Typhon Log #2: Found right outside the Titan’s Gate leading to Atlas HQ.
Typhon Log #3: On the bridge overpass near the Halcyon Suborbital Spaceport.
Hijack Target: Found right outside the entrance to the Neon Arterial. To unlock the gate, follow the wire and shoot pipes where the wire is broken to connect the electricity.
Typhon Dead Drop: This tricky Dead Drop is located high up in the shopping area opposite the Lectra City entrance. You’ll need to jump up to reach this high balcony.
