Down But Not Out — Even If Defeated, You Can Respawn Allies
You heard right. As long as one member of your team is still alive, you can be revived. By collecting a special item on your ally’s body, and locating a Respawn Beacon, you’re able to bring a dead ally back into the action. There’s actually a reason to stick around and watch your allies continue the fight without you — and it makes deadly early encounters a little less game-ending. You can still turn the tables and rescue your teammates.
That also means it’s incredibly important to kill an entire team of players. If you’re in a gunfight, don’t let those stragglers escape! They might run off to a Respawn Beacon.
Put Away Your Weapon To Run Faster And Climb Higher
This simple change is very similar to PUBG — if you want to move fast, you need to holster your weapons. But, there’s an added wrinkle to this handy ability. When you’re wall-climbing, you can earn a little extra height without a weapon equipped. It makes mantling and hopping up the vertical structures all across the map just that much faster and easier. You’re a nimble guy in Apex Legends, but you can always be a little nimbler.
This is especially useful with Bangalore. When she’s sprinting, she’ll actually move faster when she’s shot — breaking one of the fundamental rules of Battle Royale.
