It’s turning into a chilly winter, and to celebrate the season, Hitman 2 just released a new seasonal event map called the Hokkaido Snow Festival. In this small bonus map, you’ll hunt down a nefarious Russian target with a variety of winter-themed weapons. You can throw snowballs, collect ice knives, or drop giant icicles on your unsuspecting target. It’s all for fun, and includes a cool new outfit for Agent 47 to unlock.
The mission is always pretty easy to earn Silent Assassin in. To fill out this quick guide, I’ll discuss multiple methods for executing your target without getting caught. They’re all very, very easy to handle. It might take place in Hokkaido, one of the most notoriously difficult Hitman maps, but it’s still a chilly breeze to complete. Let’s get down to business, Agent 47.

How To Earn A Seasonal Silent Assassin | Hokkaido Snow Festival Guide
To totally complete the Hokkaido Snow Festival map, you’ll need to complete 6 “Snow Master” challenges. Let’s go through all of them right now.
N-icicle Assassin
Very easy. Just grab an icicle from the bridge in the garden. The easiest place to kill the target is in the bathroom. Knock out the guest in the restroom, and you’ll be able to easily kill (and hide) the target without any guards nearby.
Cold From Above
To get this, you’ll need to complete more challenges until you unlock the ability to bring a weapon. Bring a Silenced Pistol when you’ve made enough progress, or stash it in a cache, then shoot the large icicle that the target stands under in the garden. He’ll go to the balcony and look towards the helipad. That’s your chance.
Festival Shock
Another simple one. Grab the car battery from the underground garage, then take it up to the target. Turn on the water on the sink so it overflows, then toss the battery into the pool to electrocute him. Same rule applies — just get rid of the single occupant.
Cold Surprise
This one requires some outside assistance. Bring Rat Poison (or find it on the map) and poison the snacks that the target eats before going to the restroom. He’ll throw up in a stall — that’s your chance to drown him.
In Your Face!
In the garden, you’ll find lots of snow piles. You’re almost guaranteed to get caught doing this, but it doesn’t matter — set the mission down to Easy, and collect a bunch of snowballs from snowpiles. Then you’re free to go on a rampage. You can die and still unlock this challenge.
Blood In The Snow
The simplest of all the challenges. Blood in the Snow unlocks if you kill the target and complete the mission. You’ll get a fancy Snow Festival Suit for your trouble.
Complete all six challenges, and the Snow Master challenge is complete. Enjoy your Ice Pick reward!
