When you’re new to Tekken 7, it’s hard to tell which characters in the roster to play. Some of them look pretty cool, but it’s going to take a high degree of knowledge to learn certain fighters — if you want to succeed, it’s best to start with a Beginner tier character, then move your way up once you’ve gotten a handle on the simplest characters.
Here, you’ll find a simple ranking showing which characters are easiest to play — from Beginner to Expert. Even if you’re new to Tekken 7, you can jump to any of the characters, just don’t expect to win without the right amount of skill under your belt. Expert Tier characters are reserved for only Tekken 7 players that know what they’re doing. You don’t have to be a master, you just need a high degree of understanding when it comes to the many systems present in this 3D fighter.
Character Difficulty List
Beginner Tier characters are simple enough that literally anyone can pickup and play without learning the fundamental skills you’ll need to become a great Tekken 7 player. Not to say that any of these characters aren’t complex — often they’ll have combos beginners won’t even think about performing early in your Tekken 7 career. Just don’t fall into beginner traps. Some of their powerful attacks can form bad habits when playing against the AI.
