Return to Ninjago City and save the island from the evil Meowthra in the final level of The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game. Lord Garmadon has escaped from the Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate weapon, and he’s on a rampage, spreading even more chaos with Meowthra. To stop him, the team unlocks their inner “piece” — literally, they all have LEGO pieces locked inside themselves!
In-game, that means you’ll gain new elemental weapons that glow and sparkle. Taking a trip back to Ninjago City Downtown, you’ll have to fight through the Shark Army and save civilians. Using all your new unlocked powers, it’s a race to reach Lord Garmadon and bring an end to his reign of terror.
That is, until you reach the secret bonus level after the credits. Instead of dumping you back into the main game, you’ll be treated to a bonus stage — as one of two giant minifigure monsters, you’ll be able to smash everything in sight and earn tons (and I mean TONS) of studs. Enough to gain multiple levels in a single go. How’s that for a reward?

The Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon isn’t so ancient after all – it’s actually Lord Garmadon’s old house! The place is pretty dusty, but I’m not going to call that ancient. Anyway, you’ll find the entrance to the next level directly up the steps. Enter the green light and it’s off to Level 8.
Epilogue: Ninjago City Downtown
The heroes have access to their elemental weapons now! And it’s back to Ninjago City for a final showdown with Lord Garmadon. On the beach, swap to Kai and melt the gold LEGO bricks under the tower, then fight through the Shark Army reinforcements as they arrive.
Up next, use Cole to blast open the cracked LEGO wall, then enter the green light with Lloyd. Use his spinjitzu and cursor over all three green LEGO objects to create something new – a device Jay can activate! The launcher knocks down the pier, creating a vertical wall run path up to the street.
To start saving civilians, smash the glowing LEGO dumpster and build the bricks, depositing them on the green car near the LEGO glass dealership. Charge the generator with Jay’s electricity spinjitzu to smash the glass, build the hopping bricks, and activate the spin-device with Jay.
Now Lloyd can create a Super Build! Step into the green light with Lloyd and target the car, the sign, and the crashed plane to create a big machine only Kai can activate. That saves the civilians, and creates two vertical wall run paths on the red surfaces!
Up top, cross the broken bridge and you’ll see a monorail get trapped. Keep going, defeating Shark Army along the way and wall running to get closer to the front of the monorail. Break the red LEGO electrical box and rebuild the pieces to create another machine only Kai can activate. While Kai is holding the crane controls, swap to Cole and destroy the yellow cracked wall to rescue the monorail.
Enter the monorail tunnel and defeat the Shark Army ambush to lower the wall run surface. At the end, you’ll find a Multi Build. Build on both sides, left and right, and wait until the red switch turns and both lights turn green. When the lights are green, smash the Multi Build! Turn all the lights green to open the path forward.
Take the road to the monorail station and exit through the back-right. Some firemen are in trouble! Use the tall scaffolding further right to climb up to the rooftops. Wall run up the flat surfaces and slide down the rope to reach a huge green satellite dish with a good view of the precarious fire truck. Defeat the Shark Army goons and run up the wall run surface.
Melt the gold LEGO bricks on the water tower, then push the broadcast tower off the checkerboard floor. You’ll need two teammates to push at the same time. When it’s dropped down, swap to Lloyd and use his spinjitzu to Super Build a solution! The weird arm mech creates a bridge to the highway.
- Ancient Scroll #10: Master of Endurance – The final Ninjanuity Token is awarded after saving the fire men. When you spend them all and unlock every extra ability, you’ll earn this Ancient Scroll for free.
Cross the arm-mech to face Meowthra. Lloyd, in a moment of kindness, actually rescues his father from the giant cat. And that’s it. You’ve completed the main story of LEGO Ninjago, but there’s actually a whole lot more to do. You’ve got a whole island to explore, including tons of optional areas. Grab those gold bricks and start unlocking extra zones – it’s worth the effort.
Epilogue Pt. 2: Destroy Ninjago City
And, for all your hard work, you’ll get to destroy Ninjago City! You’ll play as the Green Ninja Mech Dragon and the Garma Mecha Man! These guys aren’t your regular city smashers either. After unleashing enough attacks, you’ll explode with energy and wipe out any nearby buildings when the [B / Circle] prompt appears.
You don’t have to destroy everything in the city. Just keep smashing until you hit 100%. You can also increase your percentage by building the glowing hopping LEGO bricks – that creates a Garmadon flag!
This is a great level to earn lots and lots of studs. Smash up everything you can and keep your multiplier going to earn an insane amount of studs. If you can keep your combo high enough, you can easily gain three or four levels in this stage alone.
