This has been a big year for Pokemon. Not only did the franchise see one the biggest video game installments release around the world, Pokemon Go, but the franchise is also celebrating its 20th-anniversary. The Pokemon Company has been celebrating the 20th-anniversary with fans of the series by giving away a free mythical Pokemon each month.
There’s been a wide range of Mythical Pokemon that gamers were able to obtain and for the month of September, you can obtain Victini. Like the past free Mythical Pokemon available through the 20th-anniversary celebration, Victini will be level 100. This is a psychic and fire type Pokemon that will come with Victory Star, Incinerate, Quick Attack, Endure, and lastly, Confusion.
You can obtain Victini up until September 24, 2016. While some of the previous Mythical Pokemon giveaways required gamers to attend a local GameStop, this time around you can obtain the Pokemon right from your home.
All gamers are required to obtain Victini is a copy of Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, or Pokemon Omega Ruby. From there, select the Receive Gift option within the menu and choose to receive the gift through the internet. From there, simply visit any in-game Pokemon Center.
In other news, there are two brand new Pokemon video games set to release for the Nintendo 3DS. Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are both set to launch worldwide on November 18, 2016.
