After rumors and supposed leaks that suggest Inside would be coming towards the PlayStation 4, it has finally been confirmed. A new trailer was posted today from developers Playdead that reveals their latest puzzle-platformer title, Inside, will be coming to the PlayStation 4 at the end of this month.
Inside, at this point, has already released for the Xbox One and PC. Now PlayStation 4 gamers can expect to partake in the fun. If you don’t recall Playdead, they are the creative minds behind the successful puzzle-platform title Limbo.
For Inside, the game resembles much of the art style and mechanics from Limbo. Within the game, players take the role of a young boy who must go through a variety of dangerous landscapes and puzzles, where failure will result in the boy’s death.
The trailer posted earlier today reveals that Inside will be launching on the PlayStation 4 this August 23, 2016. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise as earlier this year, the developers behind Inside revealed an interest in releasing the game for the PlayStation 4 in order to get the title to as many gamer hands as possible.
Likewise, if you already own a copy of the game, perhaps you’ll be interested in learning about the variety of ways you can unlock the alternative ending.
