There have been a few anticipated video game titles that were set to launch this year but arguably the biggest has been Cyberpunk 2077. This video game title has been something that fans were waiting on for years. After all, the video game comes from a pretty reputable video game development studio, CD Projekt Red. The same folks that brought out The Witcher trilogy have been working on a new RPG experience that fans can finally dive into today.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been subjected to several delays but CD Projekt Red managed to keep this game from releasing in 2021. In fact, the last delay that this game had was rumored to be based around optimizing the game for the last-generation video game console platforms. Now that the title is out, some fans are not happy over the visuals this game is giving off for the likes of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We’ve seen gameplay footage released for the likes of the Xbox One X and the PlayStation 4 Pro, but it looks like the standard editions of these consoles might not have enough power to really deliver the experience that fans are wanting.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been hyped for years and it might be too much game for last-gen consoles. From reports such as Kotaku and other players online, bugs are quickly popping up for these consoles. There’s been plenty of poor visual bugs showing up online that have players confused if they are running the game with the day one patch or not. That’s not necessarily an issue for just last-generation consoles either.
I’ve seen plenty of posts complaining over bugs or visuals from this game. Even some friends have chimed in about issues initially on the PC platform. Personally, I haven’t run into anything problematic but I’ve also barely scratched the surface of this game. Being such a massive RPG with a pretty lived-in world, you can expect a few bugs to be present, but hopefully, enough updates release that will allow players to at least enjoy the game.
