The rad-filled town returns in Nuketown ’89, a classic map in the Call of Duty canon — and once again, there’s a cool Easter egg to experience. Previous games featured Nuketown secrets where strange events would occur, including a terrifying Easter egg that caused mannequins to come alive and chase you around. Yes, really.
The Easter egg isn’t so elaborate this time. Instead of bringing mannequins to life, it transforms the map into a neon-green nightmare with an ’80s synth beat. The trick is simple — you just need to shoot off all the mannequin heads as quickly as possible. It isn’t as easy as it sounds.

Nuketown ’89 Easter Egg
To uncover the Easter egg in the abandoned ’80s version of Nuketown, you need to shoot off all the mannequin heads in less than 1:30 (one minute, thirty seconds) — which is tricky, because the mannequins spawn in random locations every time you reset the map.
There’s no simple way to pull this off. You’ll just have to keep trying and get lucky — make sure to check every corner where mannequins can spawn. Most of them always appear in the same place, but not all. It just takes a little luck and a lot of practice.
