Wolfenstein: Youngblood introduces powerful new enemies to the roster. And we’re not just talking about the new soldier types. You’ll encounter massive bosses at the end of each story mission. There are five boss fights total, and three of them are totally unique. Here, we’re going to break down each of the boss battles and offer a few tips to make them much easier.
I want to especially focus on the final boss. I won’t spoil anything here, but he’s extremely difficult. If you die three times during the battle, you’ll have to restart the raid from the beginning. That’s a huge slog, so here’s a few surefire tips to make things easier.

How To Beat Every Boss | Boss Strategy Guide
There are five boss battles in Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and three unique boss battles. You’ll encounter three identical bosses — the UberGuards. Each encounter is slightly different, but the bosses can be destroyed the same way.
All of these fights are tough, so I’m going to break down how to handle each one. You’ll only need a few quick tips and pointers — and if you’re ever truly stuck, earning levels and unlocking upgrades for your weapons will do wonders for your survival.
Boss #1: General Winkler
The first boss — General Winkler is encountered at the end of the Zeppelin stage. He’s wearing a suit of power armor that has all the abilities you do. He can turn invisible, double-jump, and wield dual machine-pistols. He isn’t incredibly deadly, but he takes a lot of damage.
The trickiest part is just following him when he turns invisible. Watch him when he escape and just stay on him. Unload all your bullets into him, and use Cloak to collect health items if you’re load. The arena has two floors, so explore everywhere.
When Winkler is low on health, he’ll flee to the exterior of the zeppelin. Follow him and continue to shoot until he hangs from the edge — shoot his hands, and he’ll go flying into the turbine engines.
Boss #2, #3 & #4: UberGuard
The massive UberGuard robot is basically identical in all three fights. It fires salvos of missiles that track you, has an automatic laser cannon, and is incredibly tough from the front.
The UberGuard has a weakness — the power core on its back. The best strategy to take all the UberGuards down is simple. Use Cloak or sprint behind the UberGuard, then unload using akimbo guns, or use the special Kraftwerk weapons. The Dieselkraftwerk is especially powerful. Get the Dieselkraftwerk upgrade for cluster bombs, and you can destroy UberGuards in a single salvo. Attach as many bombs to the back of the UberGuardian, then detonate.
You can also destroy the arms of the UberGuardian with careful shots. Use weapons that can pierce through hard armor. The toughest fight (in my opinion) is actually the first battle in Brother 1. Here, the UberGuardian is supplemented with laser floor traps. There are ridges around the servers you can jump onto and use to strafe away.
Boss #5: General Lothar
General Lothar is equipped with a powerful power armor suit. Like General Winkler at the beginning, he’s incredibly tough, can use akimbo weapons, and is equipped with extra powers. You’ll have to fight him in two small arenas before the real battle begins at the top of the tower.
This is where the battle gets a lot more difficult. You have to fight Lothar while he’s flying — and he has help from a Nazi jetfighter that strafes the area with missiles. Enemies will also arrive from the elevators once Lothar takes enough damage.
To shoot Lothar down, upgrade the standard Assault Rifle and turn it into a single-shot rifle to make precision shots easier. He can be hard-to-hit and nimble. You can also ride the tower lifts up to the catwalks which are covered with turrets you can use.
After taking Lothar down and disabling his jetpack, he’ll fight you on the ground again. Lure him up to the catwalks above and strafe around the arena. He’ll have a much harder time tracking you down, and you can easily lead him around corners, then quickly sprint to safety. Fighting him in the upper area catwalks makes him much, much easier!
Otherwise, Lothar really doesn’t have a weakpoint. You just need to outlive him. Up above, the strafing aircraft can’t seem to reach you either. It really is a life saver once you realize the catwalks are available from below. If you stay down below, the fight is a lot harder.
