One of the more anticipated video game releases of 2019 is coming soon. Fans have been asking for Capcom to remake Resident Evil 2 much like how they remade the original Resident Evil. Now that some time has passed since its initial announcement, Capcom is gearing up to release the video game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and lastly, the PC platforms. However, if you are waiting to try the game out before you make the actual purchase, it looks like you might actually get the chance to do so.
A new Microsoft Store listing shows that a demo for Resident Evil 2 will be coming for Xbox One on January 11, 2019. This demo will apparently start players off in the Raccoon City Police Department, much like the initial gameplay reveal for the upcoming survival horror title. However, unlike other usual demos out on the marketplace, this demo will give players access to roam the police department freely for thirty-minute spurts. As a result, players will not only get a feel of how the game will handle but a heads up on the puzzles and areas before your demo time runs out.
Of course, that doesn’t mean the thirty minutes demo time is limited to one use. Instead, gamers can go through the demo as much as they’d like. But don’t wait too long before diving into the demo as it will only be available until January 31, 2019. That will be a few days after its official release so if you rather wait and enjoy the game fully then you can simply pick it up on January 25, 2019.
In other recent news regarding the Resident Evil 2 remake, Capcom has recently announced that there will be no new monsters. Likewise, a final scene will play once you have completed both campaigns of Leon and Clair. As mentioned earlier, you can purchase Resident Evil 2 on January 25, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
