Hitman 2 (2018): How To Kill The 'Sean Bean' Elusive Target | Silent Assassin, Suit Only Guide

Take your best shot in the very first Hitman 2 (2018) Elusive Target. For a limited time, starting Nov. 20th, you’ll have 13 days to track down and kill Sean Bean. No, it isn’t really him — it’s a character named Mark Faba that just happens to be “Undying”, an assassin that’s been killed numerous times, but never seems to stay dead. The actor himself is known for dying in film and television, so it’s only natural Agent 47 gets to take a shot at him.

What makes an Elusive Target special isn’t just that you’re timed. You also only get once chance at success. You can’t save your game, and if you die, it’s game over. Things can go wrong very easily, very quickly, and that makes the Elusive Targets some of the most tense missions you’ll play in a Hitman game. To make life easier, we’ve got two methods that’ll make this mini-mission a whole lot easier.

The Undying Elusive Target | Silent Assassin, Suit Only Guide

To take down “Sean Bean” — a.k.a. Mark Faba — you’ll need to use your wits. Here, I’ll reveal two ways you can defeat this target. The first method is tricky, the second method is extremely easy and will earn you the ‘Silent Assassin’ if you complete it correctly.

NOTE: Elusive Targets are limited-time only events. If you fail to kill the Elusive Target, you will lose your chance on your current account. You only get one chance. If you die, it’s all over.

Both methods require an additional loadout.

When you’re ready, it’s time to take Sean Bean down. Something tells me he isn’t going to die without a fight.

Method #1: ‘Silent Assassin’ [Easy]

For this method, we’re going to steal a Engineer Disguise and use it to meet Mark Faba. Inside, go to the lab and unlock the silver wall-mounted locker. Collect the detonator, and use it to blow up Mark Faba. It’s a little trickier than that.

Grab the Engineer Disguise in the coat check room in the conference center lobby. Talk to the distinctive man, and he’ll lead Agent 47 upstairs. When you get upstairs, go to the lab. Knock out the head scientist when he enters his office alone and hide his body in the container. Swap outfits and then lockpick the silver case. The bomb remote is located inside. Throw an arm to distract the scientists / guards inside, then lockpick. You’ll have just enough time. If someone is suspicious of you, simply leave and hide.

With the detonator, wait for Mark Faba to arrive. When he stops at the red bomb device in the lab, distract his guard. Throw a coin or arm into the office. You want to make sure the area is clear before detonating the bomb. When the guard leaves to investigate, detonate the bomb with the remote and exit.

Method #2: ‘Silent Assassin, Suit Only’ [Hard]

Mark Faba is located exclusively on the second floor of the conference center. He moves from the Conference Room to the Lab. For this method, your goal is to reach the Conference Room without being spotted, then poison the drink at the head of the conference table with Lethal Pills.

To do this, enter the event center through the back gate, right of the ramp to the underground parking. Unlock the door, then go to the second floor maintenance room. Just as you exit the maintenance room, there’s a window to the right. Vault through and climb the pipe up to the third floor.

Sneak into the security room and disable security cameras. If you were spotted, this is a good time to destroy the evidence. After that, cross the third floor and reach the area above the second floor conference room. Use sight to see if the conference room is populated. When the balcony is clear, sneak down and wait beside the far door.

When the conference room is clear, sneak inside and use lethal pills on the drink at the front-right of the table. Mark Faba drinks from this glass. Now you can simply sneak out the same way you came in.
