Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a five-minute long trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins. The trailer was teased late last week, and depicts Batman doing battle against Deathstroke. He also comes face to face with Black Mask, the mob boss who puts a bounty out on his head.
Taking place early in Batman's career as a vigilante crime fighter, Batman: Arkham Origins is set on the coldest night of the year and sees Batman fighting all manner of villains and supervillains, eight of whom want him dead after taking up Black Mask's bounty.
In addition to the trailer, the official box art for Batman: Arkham Origins has been revealed. It features Batman looking downward as a variety of assassins do battle on his chest (no, really, look at it).
Batman: Arkham Origins is slated for an October 25 release on the Wii U, PLayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. A spin-off title called Blackgate is also planned for release on the PS Vita and Nintendo DS alongside the main game.
