UPDATE: Car maker McLaren has advised people to tune into Microsoft's next Xbox reveal tomorrow commenting "Tomorrow, 6pm BST/10am PDT, Xbox is revealing something special. We think you might like what they're announcing…"
The company's comments would almost certainly suggest a new racer of some description will be announced. Whether or not it's a Forza remains to be seen, a new Project Gotham Racing is also believed to be in the works.
ORIGINAL STORY: Siliconera has unearthed a Microsoft registered trademark for ForzaVista potentially suggesting a new entry in the racing series will be announced either tomorrow along with the next Xbox or at E3 next month.
While ForzaVista is filed or under IC 009 – the usual classification the United States Trademarks and Patents Office uses for videogames – the application is quite specific.
ForzaVista is "a feature of interactive videogame software which allows players to obtain statistical information of internal and external features of a vehicle and to virtually navigate and operate those vehicles."
This is significantly more specific than the trademark for Forza Motorsport which simply reads "computer grograms, namely, game software for use on computers and videogame players."
Previously, it has been reported that a Forza game will be released among the next Xbox's launch titles. It's expected that Microsoft will show off their "vision" for the console at tomorrow's event while the full line-up of "blockbuster" games, including a "tonne" of exclusives, will be revealed at E3.
It's believed that Crytek's Ryse, and Respawn Entertainment's first game are among the titles Microsoft has lined up for their next console which is expected to launch later this year.
