Fallout 76
- Developer: Bethesda Game Studios
- Publisher: Bethesda Softworks
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO
- Release: November 14, 2018
Fallout 76 is the latest upcoming installment to the Fallout franchise though it will be quite a bit different in comparison to past main installments. Bethesda has developed Fallout 76 to be an online multiplayer title that takes place before previous Fallout games.
Within the game, players take on a member from Vault 76 where their goal is to help rebuild the wasteland when the vault opens twenty-five years after the nuclear war. While this is still an action RPG, the gameplay is centered on building up and maintaining settlements.
From we have gathered so far, players will not be seeing any NPCs but instead, the game will feature other live players enjoying the game. As a result, there won’t be any quests to take on which means you’ll be crafting your own story.
This is also a rather large game with the map being four times the size of Fallout 4. While you can stumble upon other random players, the game will allow for online cooperative gameplay. Unfortunately, this online cooperative party mode will only limit players to three players, but you can at least join up with friends if you wish to explore and work together within the Wasteland.

Players are also encouraged to band together and help build up settlements within planets. Otherwise, you can be an explorer where you set off to discover new locations, creatures, and resources to use. This is an always changing universe being procedurally generated making exploring a bit endless.
The game has been out since 2014 through Early Access on Steam but it finally has an official release date attached to the project. Gamers will be able to purchase the full game on September 11, 2018.
Total War: Arena
- Developer: Creative Assembly
- Publisher: Wargaming, Sega
- Platforms: PC
- Release: February 22, 2018
If you enjoy the Total War series then we suggest checking out Total War: Arena. This is a free-to-play title where players are tossed into an epic battle that’s typically a 10v10 style team. The game match puts players in control of commanders and must work together with your team to defeat the opposing force completely or capture the enemy base.
Battles will have hundreds of warriors to command though matches never take very long to complete. Players will essentially spend ten to twenty minutes per match and if you’re not looking to go head to head with other players then there is an AI bot mode so you can hone your skills a bit.
Being that this game is a free-to-play title, there is an incentive to spend some cash on content within the game. However, you can save up your in-game currency if you wish to grind through the game a bit instead of spending your hard earned money.
