For the millions enjoying Halo 4's multiplayer, you'll be able to play on a new set of maps this coming December. 343 Industries has three map packs planned for Halo 4 and their release dates might have just been outed by the Xbox 360's German dashboard in the image you see above (via HaloCouncil).
We've outlined each pack's release date, as well as images of the maps that will be included. So without further ado, let's get down to it.
Crimson Map Pack (December 10)
Wreckage
Harvest
Shatter
Majestic Map Pack (February 25)
Landfall
Monolith
Skyline
Castle Map Pack (April 1)
Daybreak
Outcast
Perdition
These three map packs will, of course, be included in Halo 4's War Games Season Pass, which is priced at 2000 Microsoft Points. Keep in mind, though, that 343 Industries or Microsoft has yet to comment or announce the map packs officially. So there's a chance that this could be an error on Microsoft Germany's end. Naturally, if and when they do announce an official response, we will let you know.
While you're waiting for these map packs, maybe you need help in Halo 4's vanilla maps? If so, we have a specialization guide, a progression/unlocks guide, and even a couple of videos that should help you be a better sniper.
For those who purchased the War Games Season Pass, are you happy with the three map packs and its accompanying images? Also, will 343 Industries have more maps and whatnot after April 1? Hopefully they do since that's quite early on in the game's lifespan, no?
Thanks, MP1st
