Make sure you don’t have a gaming session planned during this time: Sony’s PSN is scheduled to have maintenance on May 23rd for one hour at 3 PM local time.
The scheduled maintenance will affect all Sony platforms such as the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, web surfing will also be affected.
While players will still be able to game and play most programs during the maintenance period you will be unable to manage your account, access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Music and PlayStation Video. “Gaming and social” functions will also be limited.
With regards to the maintenance, Sony apologised stating: “We apologise for any inconvenience. We strive to ensure that PlayStation Network services are available at all times, but occasionally we must take PlayStation Network offline to perform essential maintenance and implement feature enhancements. We are working hard to reduce the duration of each maintenance.”
