Sony Details Plans for E3 2017; Over 15 Hours of Live Content; Fan-Favorite Cinema Experience Returns, and Much More

May 19, 2017 by Jordan Biazzo

What announcement are you most looking forward to?

Sony has taken to the PlayStation Blog to announce the official itinerary for the company at this year’s E3.

With a ton of excitement to follow, Sony has given fans enough time to prepare themselves by releasing a small teaser video, which you can watch below.

In addition, Sid Shuman, director of Social Media at SIEA announced that PlayStation will be serving up about 15 hours of live content for the latest PS4 and PSVR games that will be announced and detailed at E3 2017.

Check out the teaser trailer down below:

PlayStation’s main E3 2017 press conference will happen on Monday  June 12, at 5:00 PM Pacific Time, however, the fun won’t stop there. Check out the full detailed itinerary down below:

  • Monday, June 12 | PlayStation Live From E3 2017 featuring the PlayStation Media Showcase | 5:00 PM Pacific Time
  • Tuesday, June 13 | PlayStation Live From E3 2017 programming | 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time
  • Wednesday, June 14 | PlayStation Live From E3 2017 programming | 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time
  • Thursday, June 15 | PlayStation Live From E3 2017 programming | 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time

The post also details where fans can watch this years press conference. As there are loads of places to watch it – YouTube, Twitch, Etc – Shuman notes the best place is at live.playstation.com as there will be rewards and “quests to complete”

In terms of where to watch, live.playstation.com is once again your premiere destination for all E3 live video coverage. Why? That part’s easy: by visiting the site, you’ll be able to complete “quests” that unlock rewards (while supplies last). You can also browse curated collections of new trailers, developer interviews, and much more. Bookmark it!

We’ll also be streaming on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook if you’d rather watch that way. Your choice!

Lastly, the blog happily confirms that the fan-favorite PlayStation E3 experience will return when Sony returns to theaters this June. That means hundreds of fans across the US, Canada, and South America will be able to visit a local cinema to experience the events of June 12 on the big screen.

With E3 2017 only a couple of weeks away, the hype for the press conference is no doubt going to grow. Last year, Sony put on a killer show by announcing some huge titles like Spider-Man, God of War, and Days Gone.

What title are you most looking foward to from Sony this year? Let us know in the comments below!
