The Halo 4 discs have leaked out way ahead of schedule, and Microsoft is scrambling to keep the whole development from turning into a disaster. Their security division has reportedly been dispatched to verify the extent of the leak—which has since made its way onto torrent websites like The Pirate Bay, where the entire two-disc game is downloadable as a 16GB download.
Suffice it to say, cinematic videos and gameplay footage of the game are already finding their way onto YouTube—neither of which we'll bother to link in this article. Microsoft's diligence in the matter ensures that the videos are being removed faster than they can be uploaded.
The game's creative director Josh Holmes had the following words to say on Twitter:
I've worked for over 3 years making Halo 4. Please avoid spoilers and leaks from thieves for 3 more weeks until the game is out. Thank you.

If you're interested in playing the game for yourself, we advise you to wait until it's officially released on November 6 and not a moment sooner unless you want to risk being banned from Xbox Live.
We also advise you against looking for spoilers unless you want your experience ruined ahead of schedule.
