GameInformer has confirmed via its Editor-in-Chief Andy McNamara, that next month’s cover issue will feature the likes of nothing less than Grand Theft Auto 5, a game which has remained under wraps for quite some time since the release of 10 screenshots a month ago.
Little else was revealed by McNamara, who made the announcement over a couple of tweets on Twitter.
“I'm about to make some of my haters very happy,” he wrote. “I’m about to make some of my haters very happy. In NYC, about to check out December’s cover game #GTAV,” he said nonchalantly.
GameInformer’s featured games are typically treated with a host of new information, screenshots, and even videos posted on the website to accompany the articles within the magazine proper, so expect an information for GTA 5 to be just as thorough as any one of their previous covers.
If Max Payne 3 is any indication, GTA 5 can be expected to see release on the current generation of consoles and the PC—but all that’s just speculation at this point. Stay tuned for further details.
