Three short trailers detailing gameplay for the preorder bonuses for Devil May Cry has been released. As has come to be usual, there are different bonuses depending on where you preorder from.
First up is GameStop with their Samurai Pack. The trailer shows Dante fighting mainly with his scythe performing some impressive combos and attacking very quickly. Players will be able to transform Dante's shotgun, scythe and axe into "Samurai devastation". And players will also get free upgrade points to instantly upgrade weapons, combos or purchase items starting from the first time you play the game. Some people have commented on the apparent lack of a Samurai sword in the Samurai pack, which is a bit of a mystery. Buy the GameStop Samurai pack here.
Next is Amazon's Bone Pack whose trailer goes for a different kind of vibe showing slower, heavier but more damaging gameplay with a scythe that looks like it is made out of bone. You will be able to transform Dante's shotgun, scythe (of course) and axe once again into Bone weapons and access to the Orb Harvest which will let you upgrade and enhance Dante's weapons faster. Last is Best Buy's Golden Pack which features what appears to be more balanced weapons, as the speed and power seem more even. They focus more on Dante fighting with his golden scythe as well as his shotgun. You can gain access to the Item Finder with his pack, helping you hunt down hidden items.
