The PS4 4.50 update added some cool new features to the console such as external hard drive usage and custom wallpapers, but some features of the update weren’t mentioned – one being the ability to pre-load Day One patches.
LittleBigPlanet 3 is the first game to offer a preload of a patch launching on March 17, as shown in the picture below.
This is a pretty great feature not only for Day One patches, but for other games which tend to like to suddenly bomb you with a huge patch forcing you to postpone your well-deserved gaming time.
So, if you plan on picking up Mass Effect: Andromeda, make sure you use this nifty feature to get your Day One patch sorted so you can hop onto multiplayer as soon as possible.
